PRESENTATION
MENTOR NOTES
Start set dressing:
Begin placing props and environmental details to bring the scene to life and match the story context.
Fix the lighting a little in post for the beauty:
Tweak the lighting in post—mainly for the beauty pass—to smooth out any harsh areas and enhance the overall mood.
Start the Clicker:
Begin work on the Clicker asset—model, textures, and early placement in the scene.
Add some reaction sounds:
Layer in subtle reaction sounds to help sell the moment and make the world feel more alive.
Set extensions should be easy:
Basic geometry and layout make the set extensions simple to implement without much cleanup.
Portal wasn’t distracting:
The portal effect blends in well and doesn’t pull focus, which is exactly what we want.

Overall really positive reaction, from the mentors. The mentors feel confident that we will be able to execute our next steps
GOALS
Finalize LOU 3D Environment:
Push the Last of Us-inspired 3D environment closer to final quality so we can start gathering meaningful artistic and cinematic feedback.
Update Clicker Animation and Texturing:
Refine the Clicker’s movement and update textures to improve realism and integration with the scene.
Record ADR/Sound Reactions with Actress:
Capture additional voice or reaction sounds with the actress to enhance emotional beats and sync with on-screen action.
Refine Greenscreen Keys and Set Extensions:
Improve keying around tricky areas and continue building out the environment beyond the greenscreen for a more complete look.
Add CG TV Element:
Insert the CG television into the scene and start integrating it with lighting and reflections as needed.
Lock Timing & Polish Transitions:
Finalize the shot timing and smooth out transitions to ensure everything flows well visually and rhythmically.
