Presentation
Mentor Notes

TV & Screen
-TV feels artificially “stuck on” — add more shadow on the wall behind it and break up the uniformity.
-Tilt the TV slightly for a more natural feel.
-Tone down the glow on the TV.
-Separate the TV frame from the video content.
-The white values on the hair/TV interaction are blown out — adjust highlights.
Lighting & Shadows
-Increase shadow density in the bottom right corner of the frame.
-Add variation and depth to shadows to avoid flatness.
Clicker (Creature)
-Sound design: Make the Clicker sound louder and trigger it more quickly.
-Consider using a red flash to emphasize the Clicker sound cue.
-Have the vines finish growing before the Clicker appears for better pacing.
-Fix the sound effect for glass crunching under feet.
Vines & Environment
-Vary the speed of the vine growth for more realism.
-Remove dust particles (86 them).
-Blinds are a bit too bright — reduce luminance or add slight color correction.
Friends TV Show Inserts
-The last “Friends” shot doesn’t match the others — adjust to improve consistency.
-The second “Friends” shot is too blurry — sharpen or replace as needed.
Compositing Notes
-The FR plates on the shoulders are blown out — reduce exposure or highlight values.

This is the final week available for making changes, so all adjustments must be completed promptly. The current VFX goals focus on improving realism, visual consistency, and audio-visual integration across several key elements. The TV needs to feel more naturally integrated into the scene by adding more shadow behind it, tilting it slightly, separating the video content from the frame, and toning down its glow. Highlights on the hair and TV are currently blown out and need adjustment. Lighting improvements include deepening shadows in the bottom right corner and breaking up overly uniform lighting. The Clicker’s presence should be emphasized through a louder, faster-triggered sound, potentially paired with a red flash, and the vines should complete their growth before the Clicker appears. Additional audio tweaks include fixing the sound of glass crunching underfoot. Environmental enhancements involve varying vine speed, dimming the overly bright blinds, and removing unnecessary dust particles. Finally, the Friends TV inserts require attention: one shot is too blurry, and another doesn’t match the overall look. Blown-out FR plates on the shoulders also need exposure correction for a more polished composite. Prioritizing these fixes this week is critical as we approach final delivery.
