Road Man Scene
Over the past week I unfortunately ran into some file corruption that caused me to lose about two days worth of work. Thankfully, the material I lost was mostly busy work such as cloth simulations and some cleaned-up mocap, rather than major story or animation changes. Even though it was frustrating, I was able to recover what I could and quickly rebuild the rest.
After getting everything back on track, I focused on delivering the updated look for the road scene. I am very happy with how it turned out. The lighting, layout, and overall mood feel much closer to what I originally envisioned. Now that the forest environment is fully modeled, I’ll be able to move through several smaller scenes more efficiently since they don’t require as much detailed setup.
Once those shots are complete, I will mainly be left with the neighborhood scenes along with a few minor re-renders. Even with the setback, I am still on schedule and feeling confident about the progress moving forward.
