Cloth Sim Pass Version One
One of the more complicated simulations I had to create was Henry picking up and interacting with his blanket. The biggest challenge was figuring out a reliable way to animate his hands grabbing and releasing the fabric at multiple points throughout the shot. This required experimenting with different constraint setups and understanding how to control when and where the cloth would attach to his hands without breaking the simulation. While the sim could still use some fine-tuning in terms of stability and realism, I’m glad that I now have a working workflow in place. Having this setup means I can go back, iterate, and fix specific problem areas instead of having to rebuild the entire simulation from scratch.
