Team Goals:
- Develop a fully lit city with basic textures and effects
- Adjust camera length to show more of the city
- Apply textures and shaders to the Knight and weapon
- Create a full add with all elements included from FX, Lighting/Rendering, and Comp
Personal Goals:
- Create a new and more dramatic knight animation
- Remove the second computer screen from shot 1 to make it less distracting
- Compile all renders into an updated version
- Comp holograms onto the buildings
Hero Shot Title Animation
For our final shot we decided it was necessary to add some titles to fill the blank space and to also heighten the product. This was done through After Effect using a mosaic filter on a mask to simulate the pixel effect. I also added a subtle glow to reflect the city nano effect to help cohesively bring the shots together. Lastly I created the comp to be able to input any text using the Adobe font “Uniwars” from the Adobe font website, so if our mentors feel the words describing the product aren’t strong enough all that is needed is for me to type it in.

Here I decided to rework the knight animation by adding more weight to the drop and adding the spear gravitating to the character like Thor. Davis then sent a video of him doing the action and I then placed it in the background of the scene. To help with the timing I projected it from individual cameras and created JPEG sequences to allow me to match frame by frame.
